Prof Bobby Tuazon of CenPEG Explains the Rating on their STAR Scorecard

AES Watch, at a presscon held at Club Filipino last January 18, 2010, presented the groups rating on 20 areas of concern for the 2010 automated elections. These 20 items fell into four categories (1) setting up; (2) trustworthiness of the internal workings of the machine; (3) training of personnel and voters education and (4) contingency plans. The overall conclusion was that the automated elections are in the danger zone. Prof. Bobby Tuazon of Center for People Empowerment in Governance (CenPEG), which did the research, explains the rating.
